Our FREE cook-at-home recipe kits are ideal if you are unable to attend in-person cookery classes, or simply need a bit more motivation, confidence and inspiration when cooking at home.
Everything you need to cook a tasty meal from scratch, including:

Upcoming Cook at Home Kits
Our recipe kits are available to reserve online and must be collected on the date give from the community venue in the description. Please make sure to check the description on each kit before reserving.
Who are the kits for?
Cook at Home Kits are currently free for anyone living in Newcastle who are needs some motivation, skills and knowledge to cook from scratch and/or is finding it diffcult to prioritise spending money on ingredients for new meals they are less familiar with cooking from scratch.
Our aim is to make sure everyone is able to access ingredients that allows them to practice cooking from scratch and build confidence to realise cooking with fresh ingredients can be affordable, quick, enjoyable and delicious!
Where and when to get the kits
Each week a different recipe will be in our Cook-at-Home recipe kits. We try to keep it varied and always welcome recipe requests for future kits. Just drop us an email!
Kits will be available to collect from venues across across Newcastle at different times of the year. Check the desription in the kits for where a kit is being distributed, on what date and between what times.
Currently venues include:
- Fenham Library on Tuesday afternoons
Coming soon venues include:
- Byker TBC
- Ouseburn Community Centre, Heaton
