How it works
- Fill in the registration form and we will be in touch to organise a trial session for you.
- We will ask you to review a few keys bits of information such as our safeguarding policy, health and safety statement and any other role specific information you will need.
- If all went well with your trial session, we will share the calendar of events with you and you can pick and choose which sessions you would like to volunteer at. (you can do this yourself online or you can give us a call/text if you prefer)
- We will make sure to invite you to any training opportunities that are upcoming.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please complete the form below and we’ll be in touch soon. If you have any questions, please email livvy@nourishfoodschool.co.uk.
Safeguarding
Our cookery school works with different communities across Newcastle Upon Tyne and across the region.
Volunteering with us can therefore include working with children, families, young people and vulnerable adults, as well as the general public.
As such, our volunteers must have a non-judgemental attitude to supporting people of all ages and from all backgrounds, with compassion and understanding of differing needs of different people.
Furthermore, we ask that our volunteers have no current personal circumstances that might make them unsuitable or unsafe for volunteering with the people in the classes or events they may be matched to.
