Overnight Oats

Make ahead breakfast to personalise to your liking.

Ingredients

  • 200g Oats

  • 2 apples, grated

  • 100g natural yoghurt

  • 100ml milk

  • 100ml Apple juice (or other fruit juice) not from concentrate

  • 1/2 cinnamon

  • 50g berries, fresh or frozen


To serve:

  • handful of walnuts (great for Omega 3)

  • a handful of chopped fresh fruit

  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients to make a mixture that has plenty of liquid (the liquid should be around 1cm above the ingredients in the bowl (this will be sucked up by the oats overnight)

  2. Transfer to either 1 large container or individual jars and store in the fridge for at least 1 hour or overnight to allow the oats to soak up all the flavours.

  3. Grab a serving from the fridge and top with fresh fruit and a small handful of nuts and you are good to go.


Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days making sure to eat for breakfast throughout the week!
