Why Cook Together Club Fenham?

The Cook Together project aims to support residents of Fenham who are living in challenging economic circumstances.

Our programme offers a pathway away from food poverty, insecurity, and reliance on emergency food support. We will deliver services directly into disadvantaged communities, where residents are often displaced, disengaged from mainstream services, and facing vulnerabilities worsened by rising living costs.

Empowering the people of Fenham

Empowerment is central to our approach, focusing on helping people develop coping strategies, resilience, and agency, particularly during economic hardships.

Alongside monthly in-person cookery classes, we will assemble and distribute recipe kits for home use. These kits are designed for those struggling to attend community settings due to vulnerabilities/logistical challenges and/or for those who have found it difficult to incorporate home cooking into their routine even after taking part in group cookery classes.
