Who we are
Nourish Food School is here to contribute to shaping a world where food is a positive part of everyday life, challenging diet-related ill health and food insecurity across Newcastle Upon Tyne, Gateshead and North Tyneside.
We were established in 2021, and were previously a part of social enterprise Food Nation - read more about our story.
Our mission & values
We believe food should be enjoyed and a positive part of every lifestyle, and that everyone should have access to the skills, knowledge and confidence to make that happen.

We want food to be something you associate with enjoyment, achievement and great memories, influencing future behaviours and establishing a good relationship with food for both your physical and emotional wellbeing long into the future.​

What we do
Through our cookery classes, workshops, food events and partnerships we aim to positively shape the way people see, eat and experience food every day at every age.

We work with communities, schools, businesses and a range of other organisations.

Our team of Food Skills Trainers, together with our fantastic volunteers, bring experience and passion for food education to everything we do.
